May 26th, 2013- Grand Valley

Running on the same path as the deadly tornado that cut through Grand Valley 25 years ago, the route will follow a scenic 10 kilometer route through Grand Valley's main street, crossing the Grand River 4 times via 3 different bridges.  Great prizes, medals 3 deep, tech shirts, BBQ hosted by Grand Valley Lions, a kids' 500m fun run, an involved community. May 26th, 2013- Toronto
Be a part of one of Toronto's biggest running successes... both races start in Wilket Creek Park and go through the scenic Don Valley.  Enjoy the Firefighters' water station, the chocolate station and more!  To celebrate this being year 5 of this event, all runners will receive free online photography (a $60 value).  Great shirt, amenities, goodie bag and finisher gift.
May 26th, 2013- Newmarket

Flat, fast and scenic 10k and 5k chip-timed courses on the Tom Taylor Trail system.  Register early and save!  Fundraise more than $200 and receive free entry. May 26th, 2013- Whitby
A mostly flat, fast and scenic tour of Whitby, a 'port' on the north shore of Lake Ontario. Enjoy big Road Warrior points for this event and the half!  The 10k and 5k are also Road Warrior events.  There's an event for everyone in your family... even Grandma can walk the 5k!
June 2nd, 2013- Mississauga

 

Flat and fast, a beautiful tour of north Mississauga.  Technical T-shirt, chip timing, medal, great food, draw prizes... BOTH the 15k and 5k are Road Warrior races.  Come and get it!


June 2nd, 2013- Brantford

A run you will not forget! Leaving Brant Park in Brantford and making your way across a 1/4-mile panoramic foot-bridge high above the Grand Valley, you will run along the river trail that meanders towards Paris, enjoying a variety of picturesque terrain...some hills, some rocky sections, some flat... as well as taking in the beautiful scenery along the river with purple phlox. It's a bit of a challenge but once you run it, you will absolutely love it!

All 3 races start and finish at Brant Park in Brantford, Ontario. They begin on the Brantford Rail Trail which takes you on a walking bridge over the Grand River.  The Phlox Flower is in full bloom at this time of year. It is a deep vibrant color...so beautiful that at times, you will wish you had brought your camera. It will seem like you're running in a sea of purple.

Walkers will love the 10k and 6k routes.

June 9th, 2013- Oakville

Join us on the waterfront at Coronation Park for a flat, fast and scenic run.   Zumba Fitness warm-up, Chip Timed; awards for top masters, overall, and top 3 in 10 year age groups.  

Finisher’s medal, Performance race cap, Subway Sub lunch, and Drew Hildebrand support wristband.  Raise $100 or more, and your name is entered in a draw for a flat-screen TV!


June 25th, 2013- Grimsby
Mostly flat & fast.  Both the race and food after are peachy keen!  A grand tour of Grimsby... enjoy a shower afterwards, great venue inside an arena, good food, lots of draw prizes. Carpool it with friends after work from around the Golden Horseshoe.

NOTE: The 33rd Annual Peach Bud 10K,5K,&1K is an annual must-do!  Register before June 9th to receive a race shirt for entering.

Beautiful scenic, somewhat challenging 2-loop course and wine-tasting, BBQ and music! 
July 14th, 2013- Toronto
Mostly flat course through the parkland and greenery of the Don River park system along paved paths in Wilket Creek, E.T. Seton and Taylor Creek parks. You'll forget you're running in the city! Such a healthy way to spend a morning.

Your race entry gets you a technical running hat, chip timing, and great food!  There are kids' races too for little tykes and kids 6-12!  The race supports Toronto Olympic Club's Junior Olympic program.
August 24th, 2013- Toronto
Enjoy the greenery of Wilket Creek Park and the Don River park system (you'll hardly know you're in the middle of a city).  You'll love the camaraderie of hundreds of women runners. Firefighters at the water station, chocolate, race gift, finisher medal and other perks!
September 14th, 2013- Toronto
A slightly challenging 5k route in mid Toronto takes you down into a valley and back out. But what great conditioning it is!

Get bibtag timing, a race shirt, finisher medal and great food!
September 22nd, 2013- St. Catharines
Courses are beautiful flat and very fast running through downtown St. Catharines to the beautiful vineyards of Niagara and finishing back downtown.  Part of the Niagara Grape and Wine Festival.
October 18th, 2013- Oakville

Sugar-high meets runners-high at Trek or Treat, Canada’s original night trail run with runners donning costumes and headlamps (or flashlights) to wind their way through darkened trails decorated for the Halloween season. It is not like any other 5K!  Glowing pumpkin km markers and reflective skulls serve as course markers guiding runners past candy stations and through spooky graveyards. Over 5,000 pieces of candy are distributed to participants, not to mention free pizza, coffee and hot chocolate.

The 5K Run/Walk is jogging-stroller friendly and the mostly crushed gravel trails make this an accessible race for all – even those with no trail running experience. Age group prizes too.


October 19th, 2013- Collingwood

The Blue Mountains Half Marathon and 5K races take on a whole new exciting look this year with the start line moving 15 minutes down the road to Thornbury. Free parking, chip timing, a Runners' Expo and lots of fun at the race HQ and all along the course.

Starting and finishing at the Beaver Valley Community Centre, the picturesque paved and graveled route winds through Thornbury and Clarksburg, then into apple country with varied terrain, challenges and spectacular views of Georgian Bay. Expect surprises and lots of fun while promoting healthy lifestyles for youth and children.


October 26th, 2013- Toronto

October 27th, 2013- Toronto
End off the trail running season with a fun romp through Sunnybrook Park trails. Lots of surprises in this race that features slowest runners going first and waves of faster runners following. Challenging but a ton of fun.  Prizes to first, second and fourth! Tons of draw prizes and food after. Limited to 150.
October 27th, 2013- Stoney Creek
Flat, fast course in Stoney Creek. Chip-timed.  Tech shirt if you register before Oct. 14. Scary R us.
October 27th, 2013- Toronto
Scary yes, but only if you miss this event.  Great party after the race, prizes for costumes, good swag for signing up. Get in on the fun!
November 9th, 2013- Grimsby
Flat & fast... Starts and finishes at Casablanca Winery! Wear a poppy, support our troops!  Technical shirt if you sign up before Oct. 27.
November 10th, 2013- Toronto
'Fly' through a flat, fast course in a fantastic new venue, Downsview Park, in north Toronto.  Pass the new lake, 'mounds' and 10,000 trees then the old military hangars.  Run through the Downsview airport. It will definitely be a run to remember.

Easy to get to, free parking, 'bibtag' timing, race shirt, goodie bag, medal (for both events), Eload sport drink.  Being on Remembrance Day, this event will even have a short Remembrance Day ceremony before the race. Check out the site and video.  Both distances are double points Road Warrior races so boost your season points total in one race!
December 31st, 2013- Toronto

Try something different this New Year's Eve. Ring in the New Year with a 5K run on the stroke of midnight and then celebrate 2014 with a post race party!
